INTERVIEW ASSISTANCE
To succeed at the interview stage you must:
- Research your potential employer by going on the company's website or obtain informative literature from the company which might help you.
- Be punctual. Try to arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes early to allow some time to relax.
- At introduction stage give a firm handshake whilst keeping eye contact and smile.
- Maintain good posture and give out good body language. Be open and relaxed and don't fold your arms.
- Pay attention to the questions you are being asked and don't be afraid to ask for clarification if you are asked a question you fully don't understand.
- Be clear, concise and honest in your answers.
- Try and expand your answers by supporting them with examples of your previous work.
- Do not mention your previous or current employer in a negative light.
- Have questions prepared for the interviewer.
- At the conclusion of your interview thank the interviewer expressing once again your interest in the position.
- If you are being shown out the building continue to ask small general questions concerning the company.
